Job Description

Purpose of the role as Technical Manager you are responsible and accountable for the setting of Design Team programmes and monitoring of these to ensure the timely delivery of Design Team deliverables. Also managing the external consultants with early concept designs - work thing through the design process, developing the design to meet with achieving the targeted number of units within the budget constraints.

Additionally you are responsible for ensuring that staff reporting to you meet the required standards.

Ensure that the design complies with the organisations standards and building regulations.

To technically design and manage schemes ensuring that the maximum revenue is generated by the quality, cost effectiveness and build ability of the design. Also, to value engineer the project.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

As such, you will ideally have an Architectural background (specifically delivering large scale residential projects) before working for a Large London based Residential Developer. Solid experience with a Main Contractor or Residential Developer is essential with in larger scale residential construction (RC Frame). Proven track record of working on multi-unit RC Frame high rise developments in London. Technically strong across all packages from ground works to fit out. Architectural or Construction degree Clear approach to reviewing information Excellent organisational skills Proactive approach and willingness to take on new tasks
