Job Description
  • Carry out a detailed, end-to-end case review over the telephone and other methods of communication
  • Record accurate information regarding customers claim
  • Analyze a claim to establish if it satisfies conditions.
  • Organize and manage workload
  • Carry out required administration relating to the claim
  • Ensure every client claim is processed with as much information as possible i.e. thorough fact finding

Essential/Desired Skills

The successful candidate must have;

  • Excellent communication via telephone and written form
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Proven track record in the field of insurance, preferably in a claims environment
  • The patience and ability to engage customers in a polite and friendly manner
  • The ability to question effectively to identify client needs
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and sound reporting skills.

Working Hours are Monday – Friday with variable shift patterns of;

  • 9am – 5pm
  • 10am - 7pm

Experience:

  • Claims Handling: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and policies
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies

Work remotely:

  • Temporarily due to COVID-19
