Exciting opportunity to join this highly successful and rapidly expanding Medical Devices manufacturer. The Bids & Tender Manager will coordinate the key activities to ensure tenders are submitted to time, quality and in accordance with agreed policies and standards.
Responsibilities will include:
* Extend, maintain and manage tender alerts system and profiles, monitoring for opportunities to prepare and submit tenders for products and services
Responsibilities will include:
* Track tenders through their lifecycle, from pre-tender to award and beyond.
* Collaborate closely with marketing leadership and/or sales directors to ensure presentation of tenders for all products consistent with our sales and marketing strategy.
* Convene the relevant cross-functional Bid Management Team, comprising of the relevant marketing manager and finance manager, to determine the tender strategy
* Project manage the bid submission ensuring all Pre-Qualification Questionnaire, Request for Information and Tender responses are produced to professional standards
* Work collaboratively with business units (Finance, Regulatory, Creative, NPD, Operations) to drive continuous improvement in tendering process and the quality of submissions
Skills & Experience
Direct involvement in the end-to-end tendering/bid management process in a commercial environment
Product exposure in highly regulated medical / pharmaceutical environments a significant advantage
Working knowledge of the bid submission and tender associated terminologies
Experience of public sector procurement processes
