Job Description

Senior Accountant required for a Firm of Chartered Accountants in Birmingham. Applications are welcome for those that fit the criteria below:

• Be fully ACCA or ICAEW qualified, with (preferably) their Practice experience gained post-qualification;
• Have focused on handling multiple clients (limited companies, sole traders and partnerships - all sectors), with all matters relating to their affairs - e.g. VAT, Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax Returns, Self-Assessment and, ideally, taxation.
• Be confident, with a mature approach, and able to lead a team, work as part of a team or work on their own initiative;
• Have worked with Excel, VT Accounts, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero and, possibly, IRIS;
• Live within easy commuting distance of the centre of Birmingham

Salary on offer is a minimum of £35,000pa and the ideal candidate will be given significant growth opportunities and be able to contribute to the long-term growth of the Practice.
