Job Description

We successful candidate must be capable of working well and competently individually and alongside a small & caring team, taking control of the spare parts department, assisting with processing orders and dispatch in an energetic and thorough manner.

The applicant must be presentable, well-spoken and competent in both written and spoken English.

Must have excellent computer skills and have experience using Windows 10. Being competent at using Adobe Creative Suite would be preferable.

Other daily tasks will include working closely with the internal marketing & sales team and assisting with related tasks for supporting and supplying our customers with the best service possible. Also working on our growing website to keep products regularly updated with descriptions, images, prices, etc.

The successful candidate will be required to assist in office and administrative duties within our company. These tasks will include the following:

  • Filing.
  • Answering calls and dealing with enquiries.
  • Data inputting.
  • Managing data.
  • Learning our products.
  • E-mailing clients.
  • Further general admin duties.
  • Being multi-skilled and flexible to work in different roles.
  • Dealing with pressure and working to tight deadlines.
  • Supporting our Marketing and Sales Team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good use of the English language and Math. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills. IT skills – a variety of software is used such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and other programs. Good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate confidently. The ability to priorities and timetable work by being punctual and reliable. Able to work independently using your own initiative and as part of a close team. Willingness to learn and developed in the role. Must be of great character, driven to work hard, and be part of a close team. Be highly motivated, mature, and confident, and be able to interact with customers. Have a constant positive outlook when working under pressure. Have skill in prioritization and the flexibility to adapt to your workload. Be sociable, friendly, and have the willingness to learn from other members of staff. Be of a friendly and cheerful disposition. Be able to work as part of a team. Age to be 16-24 (due to Jobs Growth Wales guidelines). Preferred Learning Provider CAMBRIAN TRAINING COMPANY (WBL). Minimum Secondary School Education, GCSE in English & Math – Grade C or above.
