Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for a Weekend Counter Sales Assistant to join our team at our Newtown Building Merchants branch selling building materials to retail and trade.

In this role you will work as part of our internal team of staff.

Saturday 7.30am to 4.00pm

Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm

With weekday hours available if required to cover sickness and holidays.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Serving customers

· Storing stock safely

· Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

· Providing excellent customer service always

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Industry knowledge preferable. · Good communication skills · Methodical and organized and able to work on own initiative · Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions · Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
