Job Description

The Care Administrator will be involved in the following:

  • Supporting data management on the HR system, including sickness absence and annual leave.
  • Supporting the site with effective rota management.
  • Raising PO’s using the electronic system and ensuring compliance with organisation processes.
  • Managing delivery of goods and processing Goods Received notes.
  • Monitoring and reporting of faults and repairs.
  • General administration duties including: typing, filing, creating new resident files, diary management (including staff and residents) and producing meeting minutes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the site, answering telephone enquiries, dealing with issues/queries from residents and staff and signposting as and when required.
  • Assist with social activities and trips as and when required.
  • Provide high quality administrative support and reception duties, if required.
  • Cash handling, including recording all daily cash transactions ensuring cash is collected, stored in line with policy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet. Substantial knowledge and experience of delivering quality written and oral communication to a wide-ranging audience. Effective and confident customer care skills. Good Interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people at all levels.
