Job Description

As Covid Response Manager, you will report to the HR Director and will be the first point of contact, both internally and externally.

In this role, you must be fully up to date with the latest government guidance as you will be the internal subject matter expert. You will be responsible for:

  • Advising staff and management of the latest guidelines
  • First point of contact for any staff or student that tests positive or displays symptoms - providing advice on what steps to take, isolation guidelines etc
  • Contacting students and staff who are isolating for welfare checks and offering assistance where necessary
  • Involvement with contact tracing for positive tests
  • Accurate reporting of confirmed positive tests to relevant departments

While this role is based in Leeds and you will be required to be in Leeds at times, there is also the option to work remotely.

Profile

Communication is absolutely vital to this role, so somebody with a customer facing/customer service or management background would be preferred. It is desirable to also have a clinical background, but this is not a requirement.

You must be immediately available.
