Job Description

Must be able to work day shifts Monday to Friday (9am - 5.30pm) and half days on Saturdays (9am - 12.30pm)

Experience in a Post Office or Banking/financial services sector is essential to this position.

Previous retail experience would be preferred.

Duties will include:

- Learning the duties of the Shop

- Cash handling

- Processing parcels and other post office services

- Coordinating with all Royal Mail and Parcel force representatives

- Reporting to the SM on the financial balances

- Till work

- Customer Service

- Teamwork

- Filling Stock

- Stock management

* 15 - 29 Hours per week *

* Hours are based on the needs of the business*

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Post Office: 2 years (Preferred) Banking/Finance/Retail: 2 years (Required) GCSE or equivalent (Required) The successful candidate can start immediately after the interview process and will attend 1 weeks training for the shop duties, and an assessment of their Post Office work performance. A full background check may be carried out, and you may be asked for a DBS Check as the Successful candidate.
