Our client, an established organisation is looking for a Talent Manager to join them in their first dedicated role to workforce & succession planning; along with building and driving the Graduate & Apprenticeship programmes across the business.
Duties of the Talent Manager will include:
* Working with the wider HR & L&D team, you will support the next 5-year strategic objectives
* Strategic workforce planning across the whole organisation, building the succession strategy
* Focusing on "growing from within" the business wants to increase its internal promotions, invest in development & identify high potential employees inline with their career aspirations
* Working with L&D to review skills gap analysis, identifying internal movements both laterally and vertically
* Building the apprenticeship & graduate programmes; you will work across the business to identify future requirements and assess high risk areas
* Developing strategic partnerships to enhance channels for talent acquisition including a focus on early careers
* Longer term, you will look to become more involved with senior recruitment and by growing internal Talent, reduce the requirement to utilise external sources to recruit
Skills required of the Talent Manager will include:
* Excellent communication skills & ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and manage expectations, across various levels
* Comfortable with flexible working, with some office & home working
* Experience of workforce & succession planning
* Ideally experience of recruitment
* Experience of apprenticeships & graduate programmes
