Job Description

The is a brand new opportunity for a strong Finance Operations Manager to join the company and become a play a critical role in the growth of the company

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will monitor the day to day financial transactions, project manage the implementation of the invoice management system and will strive for continued process improvement within the department.

In this varied position will see you focus primarily in three key areas; Accounting, Oversight of the Accounts Payable function, and the Payment Office.

The role will include:

• Leading the team
• Ensuring that high volumes of accounting transactions and completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Managing the effective processing, authorisation and payment of all invoices in accordance with supplier payment terms.
• Take ownership of the invoice release strategy, releasing payments in accordance with timetable.
• Responsibility for intercompany invoicing, recharges, cost allocations, netting off and reconciliations.
• Liaising with parent group for international reconciliations and recharges
• Project manage the implementation of various SAP integration projects (e.g. vendor invoice management)
• Ensuring that ERP interface to SAP constantly evolves to reflect changes in business model.
• Identifying opportunities to make the payment processes more efficient and streamlined, implementing improvements.
• Support implementation of SAP, set-up payment providers etc

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and will have the ability to drive and lead your team to excellent results.

You will have experience of managing high volumes of accounting transactions, completing them in a timely and efficient manner, alongside international recharges and reconciliations.

Additionally, you will have strong systems experience, ideally with SAP, and the set up of new systems and processes.
