Full responsibility of accounts function within TEC ensuring that the following tasks and processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
To maintain the General Ledger including: - Posting of entries from external systems, to identify and calculate monthly, accruals
To maintain the Company's Bank accounts and Cash flow account
To identify and calculate monthly prepayments, maintaining the Fixed Asset register
Produce the monthly accounts pack
Produce Monthly activity variance report
Business Case preparation
Management of stock control
Preparation of the Company's budget
Weekly forecast for Head Office reporting
Financial audit, preparation, reporting and liaising with auditors
Providing and interpreting financial information for Heads of Department
Analyse costs, pricing, results and performance compared to budget
Maintain Personal Expense Ledger (senior management)
Liaise with credit control team and supervise finance staff locally chasing debtors
Supervision of staff ensuring accurate maintenance of the Purchase and Sales Ledgers
Supervision of staff posting Room Rental and other non Patient Management invoices
Supervision of staff posting cash receipts and daily reconciliations to the finance system
Supervision of staff performing General ledger account reconciliations
Supervision of staff Maintaining Petty Cash
To manage and develop members of the accounts team
To maintain good working relationships with members of clinical and non clinical staff, patients, consultants/ referrers, their secretaries and other internal and external contacts, particularly providers, in order to provide an efficient Bookings function.
To work in conjunction with all other staff within the department to ensure the highest standards of patient care are met at all times.
Perform any other duties as requested by Senior Management.

· Qualified Accountant · Excellent communication skills · Solid control measures and financial processes · Ideally from the healthcare sector but not essential
