The key responsibilities of the Finance Manager are:
1. Manage the financial monitoring and reporting the service budgets, and completion of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
Responsibility for ensuring the Organisation sets an accurate budget, include the reconciliation within the general ledger system and provide information to enable the statutory requirements
Support the Director of Finance in their section duties within staff management and deputise at board where required
Contribute to the medium term financial planning for corporate finance to ensure it meets the requirements of the financial strategy
Interpret and apply the impact of new legislation and grant regulations in relation to service requirements and the financial accounting requirements
Responsible for the accurate completion of relevant government returns required from Finance
