You will be highly skilled and experienced in the project management of new network installations/migrations, network upgrades and have previous experience in providing written documentation to support your project work, including network briefs, diagrams, site survey reports and project implementation plans.
Duties/Responsibilities
Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line Helpdesk remote and telephone support to business clients.
Installation and configuration of Server and PC hardware, operating systems and applications
Monitoring and maintaining Servers, PC’s and client networks
Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
Replacing parts as required
Configuration and installation of Router/Switches
Responding within agreed time limited to call-outs
Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with clients
Communicating clearly and precisely with clients over the telephone and face-to-face.
Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 environment Windows OS 7,8,10 Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019 Hosted/Cloud Emails, Backups and Desktop Solutions Virtualisation Platforms – Good knowledge and hands-on experience of VMware/Hyper-V Hypervisors. Good knowledge of managing and configuring LAN / TCPIP / DHCP / DNS / VPN’s / Wi-Fi Principles Microsoft Office 365 Product Range – SharePoint/Azure knowledge & experience would be advantageous Backup Technologies Security – Installation / Configuration and Management of Firewalls, AV, Email Gateway/Filtering Services
