Provide 1st and 2nd line Helpdesk Remote and Telephone Support to business clients
Installing and configuring server and computer hardware, operating systems and applications
Monitoring and maintaining server computer systems and networks
Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
Replacing parts as required
Configuration and installation of routers/switches
Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time
Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with clients
Planning and Managing installation Projects
Producing Project Documentation / Network Diagrams / Site Audit Documentation
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience within Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 environment Windows OS 7,8,10 Hosted/Cloud emails, backups, desktop solutions Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 A basic knowledge of Hyper V/VMware Remote Desktop Services Knowledge of LAN / TCPIP / DHCP / DNS / VPN’s / Wi-Fi principles Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Product Range – SharePoint knowledge & experience would be advantages Security – Firewalls, AV, Email Gateway/Filtering
