Job Description

Reporting to the Accounts Manager and Director.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 40 Hours Per Week

Purchase Ledger

  • Process Purchase Orders
  • Match and Process GRN’s
  • Process Purchase Invoices
  • Sort out Invoice queries
  • Get Invoices approved for payment
  • Set up new Suppliers

Sage Line 50 Payroll

  • Calculate Timesheets
  • Enter onto system
  • Post to Payroll
  • Check Payments, holiday, sick
  • Follow steps through i.e. Pension Assessment, Pre update reports
  • Update records
  • Nominal Link
  • Full Payment Submission
  • Send Pension
  • E Banking

Reception Duties

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Order Stationery

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Several years’ experience working in Accounts, ideally in a small office environment. Experience of Sage Line 50. Someone who is fully conversant with Windows Office Software. The candidate needs to work well in a small team, be reliable, conscientious, self-motivated and flexible with excellent numeracy skills, attention to detail and able to work to deadlines.. Comfortable performing reception duties as well as Accounts / Payroll.
