Treasury Analyst / Accountant - Salary c£27,000 - £30,000 plus Excellent Benefits

Based: Stourbridge / Midlands

Our Client, a market leading financial institution are searching for a Treasury Analyst to work alongside the Treasury Accountant within the Finance team.

You will be supporting them with regulatory, reporting and Treasury activities within the role. Ideally candidates will have experience working within a Treasury role within a financial services environment to be able to "hit the ground running".

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor Business liquidity and funding position
• Front office Treasury transactions and cashflow predictions
• Calculation of exposure, forecasting, reconciliations, and analysis
• Handling swaps
• Act as first point of contact with the Bank of England on collateral management and upcoming schemes
• Incorporate new changes into regulatory reporting
• Produce weekly M.I packs for committees
• Process month end reports and reconciliations
• Produce Treasury related Regulatory Returns
• Act as Secretary for various committees across the business
• Lead monthly assessment of Interest Rate Gap positions and make recommendations
• Ensure all Treasury mandates are kept up to date
• Provide cross cover within the wider Finance Operations team

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Ideal candidates will have been working in a Treasury Analyst or accounting position - with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience
• Ideally from a financial services background although this is not essential providing candidates have the right treasury experience
• Candidates should have a high level of numeracy and good attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
• Excellent team player with ability to working closely with others to deliver results and outstanding service
• Good communication skills both written and verbal and have the desire to succeed in the role
