An exciting opportunity for a trainee dental nurse to complete the level 3 diploma in dental nursing.

Full time/Part time vacancy (22.5-37.5 hours per week)

• Assisting dentists and patients
• Decontaminating instruments
• Updating patient records as instructed by the dentist
• Supporting the wider team
• Have the ability to use your own initiative
• Set up and prepare the surgery
• High standards of cleanliness and infection control
• Keeping patient information confidential
• Follow all workplace policies and procedures
• Assisting with reception tasks as needed

To provide first class customer service to our patients face to face and by telephone, to be able to follow clinical guidelines, book appointments via our in house software and take payments. The right candidate will need to have excellent verbal communication, be patient, caring and able to follow processes.

COVID-19 considerations:
As a busy NHS Dental practice we are fully compliant with COVID regulations, PPE, Perspex screens and social distancing are in place for the work force, alongside additional policies to support our workers.

Duties:

• Providing chair-side assistance
• Billing and maintaining patient records
• Assisting with front office tasks as needed

Job Duties:

• Greeting and welcoming visitors
• Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

No experience necessary as full in-house training and support will be provided. Entry Level GCSE’s A-C in English and math. We are looking for someone: Hardworking, Reliable, Excellent communication skills. Eager to learn. Positive attitude. Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure. Good organizational skills. GCSE or equivalent (Preferred).
