The ideal candidate for this Accountant role will be ambitious and hungry with an exceptional ability to share their experience and knowledge across a wide range of business sectors. Experience at Accountant level is essential. My client does not do average so is looking for an individual to match.

Roll Outline

A permanent full time Accountant position managing several independent accounts on behalf of my Client. Providing all aspects of day to day Accountancy as well as offering a bespoke advisory and consultative approach at all times. Helping the businesses clients to excel at what they do best is at the heart of this roll.

Roll Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Forecasting and Budgeting
• Stock and cash control
• Summarise current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Guide accounting juniors by coordinating activities and answering questions
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation

• Comply with financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
• Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information and trends
• Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential

Experience, qualifications and desirables

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting or finance
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance
• Part-Qualified or newly qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent experience
• Previous Accountant level experience
• A diverse business understanding
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Strong reporting Skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
