I am currently looking for an office assistant to join a reputable law firm in Leeds City Centre to work within their Finance Function.
This would be an exceptional opportunity to join a growing company and for someone who is looking to start their career within a Finance environment.
No experience would be required and full training would be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
Speaking to clients over the telephone regarding mortgage shortfalls
Taking payments and processing on the system
Allocating and transmitting CHAPS payments
Bank reconciliations and billing
Cashiering and banking
Raising cheques for the team
Looking at the ledgers once files are completed and investigating and resolving balances
Customer service duties and ensuring a smooth administrative process for the Finance Function
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous cashiering or office experience desirable. Excellent numeracy skills. A keen eye for detail and good organization skills. Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment. Excellent team player but also able to work on own initiative. Exceptional Communication skills. A flexible approach to work. A positive can do attitude.
