Job Description

I am currently looking for an office assistant to join a reputable law firm in Leeds City Centre to work within their Finance Function.
This would be an exceptional opportunity to join a growing company and for someone who is looking to start their career within a Finance environment.
No experience would be required and full training would be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Speaking to clients over the telephone regarding mortgage shortfalls
  • Taking payments and processing on the system
  • Allocating and transmitting CHAPS payments
  • Bank reconciliations and billing
  • Cashiering and banking
  • Raising cheques for the team
  • Looking at the ledgers once files are completed and investigating and resolving balances
  • Customer service duties and ensuring a smooth administrative process for the Finance Function

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous cashiering or office experience desirable. Excellent numeracy skills. A keen eye for detail and good organization skills. Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment. Excellent team player but also able to work on own initiative. Exceptional Communication skills. A flexible approach to work. A positive can do attitude.
