Job Description

Our client is working in partnership with a very reputable manufacturing organisation based in Warwickshire to recruit a Qualified Financial Accountant on an 18 month Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of change. A start is available in April for the chosen candidate.

The Financial Accountant will be a key support to the Financial Controller to ensure financial control and the delivery of timely financial reports and compliance to accounting standards.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns
• Accounting for fixed assets
• Preparation of monthly VAT return
• The preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple entities
• Stakeholder management of Regional Finance Business Partner's, Commercial team, Operational teams and other executives within the UK Management team
• Key contact for both internal and external audits
• Identify and mitigate potential financial and compliance risk areas
• Balance sheet reconciliations

To be considered you must be:

• A Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experienced in a financial accounting role demonstrating statutory accounting skills
• Experienced dealing with auditors
• A good IT and systems user
• A good problem solver with initiative
• Able to work within a fast paced environment
• Within a commutable distance from the place of work
