Job Description

Our client is working in partnership with a growing SME business in Birmingham who are looking for an assured, well-rounded and creative Finance Manager on an initital period of 6 months with the view of becoming permanent thereafter.

This is a new role following some recent growth and further plans to expand. You will be leading and driving financial performance across the business and providing insightful and transparent information and support helping to drive decision-making across the business. The position requires the need to both challenge and support commercial and financial issues across the business, whilst also reporting into a CFO.

Responsibilities include:

• Provision of weekly MI and reporting
• Business Partnering with Finance and Operations
• Month-end reporting and Management Accounts
• Year-end reporting
• Planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Creating a high value Business Performance reporting to analyse variance whilst driving continuous process improvements
• Managing a team of Management Accountants and Finance Managers

Requirements:

• Immediately available or available at short notice
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Excellent IT skills including MS Excel
• Be comfortable working in a fast paced SME business and be capable of promoting growth and change.
