Job Description

The Account Manager - Legal Firms will be responsible for obtaining, maintaining and growing long term accounts using a consultative approach. By building strong relationships and identifying opportunity you will increase spend by promoting the business and group services. The role will also involve:-

  • Developing trusted relationships with your portfolio to exceed growth & retention targets
  • Acquiring a thorough understanding of customers' needs and requirements through multiple touch points in each account
  • Thinking holistically across our group businesses to propose innovative solutions and diverse services
  • Setting and attending virtual and face-to-face client meetings from user training through to strategic partnership meetings
  • Resolving any issues and problems faced by customers promptly and dealing with complaints sensitively to maintain trust and a good working relationship
  • Writing business plans and tenders to engage customers and prospect businesses
  • Analysing usage data and recommending changes to current processes
  • Working with internal stakeholders to ensure that you cover all bases and eventualities
  • Producing and working to account development plans, team objectives and the company's core values

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A relevant degree education Strong experience in a B2B, customer facing field sales or an account management role An ability to network and build excellent rapport with varied customers and colleagues A thorough understanding of consultative selling, preferably with a recognised sales qualification (eg. SPIN, MEDDIC or Challenger) An ability to construct and deliver persuasive presentations Be comfortable working from home, using core Microsoft Office applications and other industry relevant programs Proven and demonstrable track record of revenue generation and success Experience of networking in the legal or property industry would be a distinct advantage
