The National Account Manager - Frozen will take my clients' new range of frozen products and increase distribution across the top 6 grocery customers in the UK:-
To obtain new listings and distribution in Frozen categories within targeted accounts working to hit and beat agreed commercial and business plan targets
Develop and execute strategies to secure business in all targeted retailer channels and retailers
Have a complete understanding of your customer's strategy, shopper, needs and requirements
Produce business and sell presentations, internally and externally, which are impactful and concise
Develop an effective Marketing and Promotional plan for each brand within each customer
Have a detailed understanding and demonstrate strong grip and control of P&L within all areas of responsibility
Maximise the profitability of all new listings
Provide a detailed assessment of performance, ops and risks within account responsibilities at monthly meetings
Be an Ambassador for your accounts within my clients business
Keep a complete and up to date contact sheet within all accounts
Demonstrate a high level of rigour in all aspects of internal & external administration.
Engaging and unlocking new business with targeted frozen & chilled buyers across multiple sales channels
Gaining traction and support with key customers with limited category data and marketing investment
Operate with a high level of enthusiasm, creativity and effectiveness in all aspects of the role
Consistently demonstrate resilience, tenacity and positivity
Deliver turnover and profit of nominated customers
Be a team member who supports the total business goals
Be an effective team player building good working relationships with all internal departments
Always demonstrate a clear understanding of your customer's needs

The role will be based from the Uxbridge head office, with some flexibility and national travel included
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Background in the grocery retail especially Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Ocado experience building brands with key retailers and distributors hunter / new business energy and pro activity account management - leveraging relationships and contact to drive increased profits can do attitude positive approach and team player ambitious and driven character - keen to be successful and prove their value able to work at a fast pace enjoys generating and following up on new leads, winning / closing new business innovative thinker, someone who enjoys challenging themselves to get better and add great ideas to the sales strategy ideally you will have experience within a successful SME business where you have been the 'challenger brand' in your categorie
