Accountant, Business Interruption (Forensic Accounting)

Location: Birmingham City Centre + other UK locations considered
Package: 6+ months FTC or Permanent: £55,000 - £75,000 + Car and Package (depending on experience)

My client, a leading global insurance company, are seeking to hire an experienced Business Interruption (BI) Accountant to their Forensic Accounting team.
In this role you will deal with a broad and varied spectrum of business interruption losses, flowing from large and/or complex insurance claims.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Visiting Insurers, Reinsurers, Claimants and the Insured
• Calculating and agreeing settlement of claims, and preparing final reports
• Assisting in the development of less experienced staff members
• Developing working relationships with existing clients and helping to identify and plan approaches to new clients

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant, experienced in dealing with BI quantification. Insurance/claims experience would be preferred, but is not essential.
