Job Description

This role has been brought about by a combinations of recent acquisitions, and contracts secured, and as such is focused on the management of multi million pound FTTH projects.

Key responsibilities (inc. but not limited to) -

• Accurately and transparently reporting on the status, and performance of the project(s) to senior management, as well as stakeholders within the wider business.
• Being the main enabler of the team, to ensure deliverables are met in line with cost and time.
• Risk management/mitigation and forecasting (inc. costs to date, capturing WIP risk estimation and forecasted cost)
• Setting priorities for the successful completion on project and company milestones

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience within either Telco or Construction is advantageous, but not mandatory. Ultimately, the successful candidate will be an experienced PM with a consistent and proven history, managing large multi site projects with capital budgets of up to £20m. Reporting and stakeholder management really are key within this role, and as such are the main focus for our client. As such presentation skills of a high calibre are required, to clients, stakeholders and senior management alike. Experience of recognised project management methodologies and the ability to negotiate outcomes re the mitigation of project risk. Working knowledge of the MS Office suite, as well as MS Project are required alongside a clean and full UK drivers license.
