Job Description

Staff Store UK are currently looking for a Credit Controller/Accounts Administrator on behalf of our client in Leeds. This is a full time, permanent position to join a well-established family owned business.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Proactively chasing outstanding aged debt via telephone, email and letter
  • Creating exception reports for outstanding debt
  • Creating new client accounts on the Finance System
  • Dealing with all aspects of the sales ledger
  • Assigning BACS payments to accounts and managing transfers
  • Ensuring that procedures are carried out carefully and accurately to eliminate errors
  • Ensuring good relations and communications with all stakeholders
  • Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Line Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages. Excellent attention to detail. A team player with the willingness to help and support colleagues. Strong communication skills and highly organized. Experience: Accounting: 1 year (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
