Job Description

Working hours; Monday - Friday 9- 5:30 (there may be an initial period of working from home - however the Client has aspirations of being Office based on a permanent basis in the near future)

With our Client we are looking to appoint an Accounts Clerk to join a busy and growing Team! The business has seen fantastic growth

There may be times where you are required to assist across other areas of the Finance team - so you must have a flexible working approach.

We are looking for an individual who has real drive - no two days will be the same!!!

Daily / Weekly and Monthly duties will include;

  • accurate and efficient processing of Purchase Ledger invoices
  • match, batch and coding of Invoices
  • preparation and processing of Supplier payment run
  • managing and resolving Supplier queries - building relationships at all levels
  • detailed Supplier statement reconciliation
  • maintain accurate records on the Supplier database
  • Sales Ledger Invoicing
  • Assisting with Credit Control
  • assist with the Month End close down across the Purchase Ledger

On a day to day basis you will work across Word and Excel. This is a fast paced team so you will need to be self-motivated and be able to hit the ground running - at least 2-3 year’s experience in Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger would be the ideal
