Job Description

The Director of Project Management is responsible for the implementation of the set up and management of all related Projects in his/her region. The Director is accountable for the day to day project work and to ensure systems and capacity are sufficient to meet business requirements. The Director Of Project Management will develop strategies and tactics for improving project efficiencies.

The role is highly people oriented and entails dealing directly with clients and internal operational groups.

The role necessitates taking oversight for clinical trial projects. This involves providing the client with a primary contact point and acting as the escalation point to co-ordinate the internal operational and quality departmental roles in all projects.

The Director is responsible for tracking project budgets and ensuring key deliverables are maintained in accordance with contracts. The projects encompass all aspects of clinical trial distribution services for multi-site studies.

This role will involve managing a team of project managers.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience working with or within a pharmaceutical business. Line management and leadership experience. Extensive project management experience , able to manage a number of different projects.
