Job Description

A very well organized person with a professional and flexible approach required for a growing, privately owned, Online Retail Company.

HR or Business Admin qualifications would be desirable but not essential.

  • Maintenance of Employee personnel records.
  • HR Change Notices.
  • Assist with advertising vacancies and interviewing applicants.
  • Putting together contracts and new starter packs right through to induction.
  • Supporting Payroll.
  • Administration of Return to work process.
  • Liaising with Pension Provider.
  • Time recording and staff holiday co-ordination.
  • HR Correspondence, including new employee contracts, disciplinary process, etc.
  • Appraisal document preparation.
  • Manage the leaver process, carrying out exit interviews and ensuring all leaver administration is completed.
  • Assisting with HR policy reviews.
  • Supporting Training Needs Analysis.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The post holder will be expected to provide stand alone, Administrative support to the Operations Manager on all HR related matters. Other day-to-day responsibilities will include; typing of letters and correspondences, Monitoring and reporting on attendance and time keeping, inputting data on to excel files, performing ad-hoc analysis and general administration for the business. The position requires a team player with excellent communication skills who is very well organized. You must be able to priorities your work load, completing tasks within agreed timescales, work well under pressure and always have a positive approach. Be able to anticipate what is needed and take appropriate action. You need to be confident in what you are doing and be able to work on own initiative. Excellent English and typing skills are essential, with Excel and database experience required.
