Job Description

Our client is an SME with offices in Leeds, Manchester and Wales. This role is based in North Leeds, with free parking. The company has experienced a steady rate of growth and as such they require an Operations Supervisor to manager the day to day running the Leeds function. The Operations Supervisor will report to the Managing Director and will be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to work on your own initiative.

Handling all administration tasks within the office including:

  • Booking engineers works in
  • Booking subcontractors in
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Forwarding paperwork to customers
  • Chasing subcontractors for paperwork
  • Ordering stock
  • Sending out quotes
  • Chasing up quotes
  • Supporting branch director and project managers
  • Monitoring subcontractors qualifications
  • Filling out ppqs
  • Scanning completed projects works and sending to head office for approval
  • Handling new enquires
  • Van insurance, tracking, mots etc.
  • Issuing rams
  • Monitoring engineers training and competency matrix
  • Monitoring holiday Rota’s
  • Monitoring timesheets, approving overtime
  • Kpi reporting, audit trailing,
  • Inward and outward invoicing and upload
  • Vat returns
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payroll

The company can offer an excellent benefits package including competitive salary, pension, annual bonus, 20 days’ holiday plus stats. Standard hours of work 8.30 – 5.00pm Monday to Friday (37.5hrs per week), they are very people focused and value everybody within their team.

Experience:

  • office management: 1 year (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The business is experiencing excellent growth and have ambitious plans, as such you will join the company at a very exciting time. The ideal candidate will have very strong administration and customer service experience, preferably within an SME environment. Ideally you will come from the construction / security sector, it is essential that you must have experience of diary management, engineers and sub contractors, as a significant part of your responsibility is organizing works to be completed and all necessary parts are ordered to sites across the Yorkshire region. You must also be comfortable working alone.
