Job Description

You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills in order to support people through their outpatient experience and ensure that all patients have a safe and efficient experience whilst in the department. You will need to be able to work well within a team structure and be flexible.

You will be expected to work under the supervision of a senior health care assistant as well as being able to be self-directed at times. You will have a daily working relationship with our well established team of Macmillan Breast Care Nurse Specialists, Macmillan Advanced Nurse Practitioners and the Screening Nurse for Breast Care as well as our team of doctors.

You should have demonstrable experience of working within a ward or hospital outpatient setting.
