As a Finance Analyst you will have primary responsibility for:
Building and reviewing of financial models for new product reviews across different geographies in Excel. However if you have capability using another method then that is great.
Production and review of: MIS, Annual statutory accounts, tax and VAT computations, other ad-hoc reports as requested
Maintaining the integrity of all data and records in the accounting system.
Assisting policy formulation for Finance, IFRS, Treasury, accounting, tax and regulatory matters
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders (including HMRC and regulatory bodies) on all accounting, tax and regulatory matters
Implementing systems and controls, updating all procedures and being in-charge of the financial risk framework
You may also be asked to take on special projects and other assignments as requested by the CFO and the Executive team.
Ultimately you will have strategic input on the direction the bank will progress given your research. An opportunity not afforded to candidates at this level in other companies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prior exposure to a core banking system(s) Previous experience of working within a UK banking regulated environment Experience of liaising directly with regulatory bodies such as the FCA and PRA ACA/ ACCA / CA or equivalent Must be able to build and run financial models
