Accounts Assistant
We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant in the Coventry area with our well established client.
As an Accounts Assistant you will need to have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Strong IT skills are required including Excel
- Navision experience desirable
- Ability to resolve complex debt issues
- High attention to detail
Details:
- Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum
- Working Hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00
- Location: Coventry
- Duration: Permanent
Role of an Accounts Assistant:
- Credit control, timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
- Attend meeting at the end of each week to discuss debtor report
- Liaising with sales and operational staff to ensure out-going invoices are correct
- Answering customer account queries
- Issuing credit notes
- Allocating cash receipts against aged debtor
- Assessing the credit worthiness of new and existing customer accounts
- Reducing aged debtors and minimisation of bad debt risk
- Reconciliation on a monthly basis
- with finance team as required
- Cover other departments when absence or holiday arises
