We have an exciting opportunity to expand our band 3 HCA’s within our Surgical Day Case Unit and Surgical Admission Lounge team .

The post holders will be involved in supporting and implementing new patient pathways to ensure that we deliver a positive family centred patient experience .They will use their organisation and communication skills to ensure that the patients attending early bird clinic with a decision to admit theatre through to discharge and follow up receive a co-ordinated smooth pathway.

The post holders will also be key members of our MDT team in direct care delivery pre and post operatively.

There are current developments to cover 7 day service for our plastic trauma patients –hours to be determined as this service evolves.
