Roles and Responsibilities:
- Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of patients .
-Assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of all patients.
-Providing practical support and responsive and personal care if required .
-Contributing to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
-Participating in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested.
-Assisting in the maintenance of ward cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times.
-Maintaining good professional relationship with patients, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.
Requirements:
-Understanding the needs of elderly patients.
-Dealing young adults with mental health
-Practical Experience (essential)
-Ability to adapt within a mental health environment.
-Car Owner/Current Driving Licence, Desirable but not essential
Profile: Health Care Assistant/Support Worker/Registered Nurse
Salary/Payrate: upto £10 per hour
Joining: Immediate
Shift: Full time /Part time/Day/Night/Long day /Flexible working hours
