Job Description
The key responsibilities are:
- To comply with all operating procedures and ensure they are maintained and adhered to at all times whilst ensuring that these procedures fulfil the requirements of the Senior Leadership team.
- To comply fully with all current Health and Safety regulations in operation within the Company whilst carrying out your duties.
- Maintain packaging graphic specification and asset libraries
- Experience in packaging development within FMCG companies
- Knowledge of manufacturing technology
- Ability to understanding of relevant packaging legislations, regulations and standards
- Deliver general packaging trial plans in association with the operation/project engineering and Packaging Development teams
- Understanding the sampling plan as directed by the operation/project engineers
- Liaising with packaging development team (NPD) for testing and sampling of packaging samples
- Drive packaging development from concept to launch
- Collaborate with external partners for example: print suppliers, marketing, regulatory, artwork agencies, and build effective working relationships with them.
- Participation in Root Cause Analysis of Quality failures and corrective action planning
- Support optimization of packaging and line performance
- Ability to prioritise and project manage your workload.
- To carry out any reasonable tasks which fall within your capabilities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have experience working in an FMCG company within a similar role Experience of reducing the amount of virgin plastic within packaging Clear understanding of relevant regulation and legislation in relation t packaging Experience of working cross functionally Experience of working with artwork and graphics Keen customer focused individual Commercially minded
