Finance Assistant


£19500 + Professional Qualification sponsorship

The opportunity within the company is central to how we manage this and will include:

- Day to day cash flow management. This involves monitoring, assessing the Society's bank accounts
- Daily finance processing, such as processing and reconciling customer payments and the maintenance of the Society purchase ledger
- Completing daily bank reconciliations and ensuring all controls are adhered too
- Supporting the Society with production and analysis of management information
- Establishing process improvements and systems that result in stronger controls and efficiencies
- Integrating data and developing an understanding of the impact to the Society


Supporting our Finance Manager, the role is a great opportunity for a graduate who is looking to start their career within financial services. To be successful you will have:
- A strong undergraduate degree in relevant subject
- A passion for personal development and looking to continue with professional examinations
- Strong analytic skills
- Strong IT skills (Excel)
- The ability to think outside of the box and confidence to suggest improvements
- A desire to work in a changing and challenging environment
- Interest in changing economy and impact to financial services
- Personal drive and ambition
