Job Description

This is a varied and interesting role based at our Plumpton Park site in Harrogate reporting into the Health & Safety Service Delivery Manager. The role will provide Health and Safety administration support to the Group HSE team to ensure the smooth running of the function, activities and reporting.

This role will be responsible for:

  • General administration to support the Occupational Health (OH) programme
  • Quality checking of data to ensure that OH data is recorded accurately
  • First point of contact to resolve queries into the OH mailbox
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of all HSE training programmes
  • Reporting OH data to the business and collating food safety and complaints data for CCEO reports
  • Administer the driving for work process
  • Update and circulate crisis and risk management documentation
  • Arrange HSE meetings

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience in an administration role. Experience of outstanding customer service and operational excellence to make a positive difference to our customers. Ability to manage and co-ordinate workload and activity on a day to day basis. Strong IT skills (Word, Excel) and detailed understanding of systems structure. Ability to work with internal processes and procedures and seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement. You will also need to have a highly proactive approach, excellent attention to detail, sound communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
