Job Description

You will have the opportunity to work within several specialities including ENT Max Fax trauma and orthopaedics and our General outpatients which includes specialities such as respiratory and cardiology, diabetes and rheumatology.

You will be rotated within these areas developing skills and knowledge with support of in house training. You will be supported to develop essential skills such as phlebotomy, taking ECG’s, clinical observations, urinalysis, undertaking patients HWBMI, wound management and supporting the Staff nurses in the care of the patients who require further intervention such as admission to the wards.

You will be supporting the clinicians in clinics to ensure that they have the notes, equipment for clinics.

Your main role is to support the patients during and following their appointments, supporting them if they require procedures during their appointment and ensuring they have all the help and information they need.
