This is a significant new service in response to managing Covid-19 and is expected to be a requirement for some time.

As part of managing the pandemic, the Health Board was required to introduce early on a testing and tracking of COVID-19 within the population. In order to deliver the WG seven core principles of testing, this service needs to be as streamlined as possible, be reactive to surge in demand and have a core staffing workforce with the skills and knowledge to deliver requirements.
