Job Role

Our health care assistants will:-

· Provide a high level of care to the clients

· Assist those that require it with day to day needs such as washing, dressing, feeding.

· Assist those with mobility problems

· Ensure that the preparation, cooking and serving of food meet the required standards

· Initiate and participate in recreational activities, day trips, arts and crafts etc

· Prompt and assists the clients with their medication when required

· Ensure all documentation relevant to the client and their care plans are accurate and up to date

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A successful candidate must:- · Have previous experience in a Care Role although training will be offered · Have excellent organisational skills and work well on your own initiative · Be self-motivated and flexible · Be caring, patient and compassionate · Have excellent communication skills with a good standard of written and verbal English · Be passionate about providing a high standard of care and can provide emotional support whilst promoting dignity and respect · Have an excellent attendance and punctuality record
