Job Description
We are seeking to employ an energetic and positive Receptionists to manage the front desk area. The successful Receptionist’s primary duties amongst others will be to attend to visitors, deliver excellent service, administrative duties, and assist with ad-hoc and miscellaneous functions.
Responsibilities and functions
- Attend to and assist visitors, customers, and suppliers who require assistance telephonically or face to face.
- Always act as the first point of contact for any queries and inquiries.
- Alert the relevant staff of their visitor’s arrival.
- Seat walk-in customers and visitors in the waiting area and offer them refreshments.
- Consistently follow the standard procedure for all walk-in non-staff members and issue them with a visitor’s pass.
- Answer telephone calls, as well as email correspondence.
- Transfer calls and emails to the correct staff or department for assistance and resolution.
- Accurately record and relay messages.
- Monitor and manage the availability of training and meeting rooms.
- Schedule appointments and meetings as requested.
- Assist the company with ad-hoc functions and miscellaneous tasks as and when requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Great written and verbal communication skills. Great customer service skills. Able to multi-task and remain attentive to details. Excellent organization and prioritization skills. Punctual, reliable, and good time management skills. Good problem-solving skills. Remain calm under pressure. Must be computer literate.
