The business has further growth planned, through further acquisitions and investment in the construction of new build generation assets. The successful candidate will work with the business to ensure that value is maximized from third party contracts, whilst minimizing risk and operating in a framework of business policies and processes. The role works closely with other members of the Procurement team, internal stakeholders and is a key interface between the business and external third parties.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the key responsibilities and duties include:-
Supporting the procurement team with purchase order maintenance and creation
Undertaking vendor master data changes with SAP
Coordinating the process for on-boarding new vendors
Uploading existing contracts into a new Contract Management System
Analyzing and processing orders under £25,000
Providing support for creating and processing tenders
Monitor and action the procurement shared mailboxes
Maintaining our financial monitoring database
Setting up and maintaining outline agreements in SAP
Any other support activities
Benefits
Salary range is per equivalent of £28,000 - £32,000 a day, circa up to £100- £120 per day

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience of supply chain in a comparable role, Experience of SAP and e-tendering systems. Evidence of managing a procurement whole life cycle, ensuring that any value created in the negotiation stages is delivered through contract delivery.
