Job Description

Working as part of a very busy team, your duties as a Customer Service Administrator will include:

  • Working within the control Centre
  • Reconciling driver trip sheets, ensuring all loadings and deliveries match
  • Resolving any discrepancies, investigating and resolving
  • Reconciling drivers work and tachograph information for pay and invoicing
  • Managing returned driver paperwork
  • Inputting all manually placed orders and uploading to the planning system
  • Negotiating delivery slots with customers
  • Answering customer helpline with updates – TQM system & POD enquiries

Hours of work are 37.5 per week working shift patterns Monday to Sunday with the earliest shift starting at 6am and the latest shift finishing at 9.30pm.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced customer service environment, having a confident telephone manner. In addition, you will have strong administration skills, being proficient in the use of MS Office, GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in Maths and English, together with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to train.
