Job Description
The key responsibilities of this role as an Operations Manager will be :
- Management of 100 + staff in a very fast paced Ecommerce distribution environment
- Daily setting of KPIs of the operational staff
- Liaising with Transport to make sure all timings link up effectively
- Commercial management of the relationships with key customers
- Dealing with any disciplinaries or grievance issues
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have previous experience of managing 100 + people in a very fast paced warehousing environment Previous experience within an Ecommerce environment is preferred but not essential Previous experience of dealing with disciplnaries and grievances Have drive to succeed and want to progress through the ranks Be a team player and support others in their development Have previously coached and mentored members of staff through promotions Have a key vision for the business and want to support and aid in its growth Have commercial acumen and be able to effectively manage across multiple customers
