Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing Admin activities like installing, monitoring the Siebel UCM /OCH Application Servers, Running Database Extracts, Monitoring logs
  • Creating users, password resets, Export / Import repositories between environments for new code releases + DDL Synch
  • Responsible for Application Deployment Activities
  • Responsible for coordinating with development/testing/deployment team for any deployment Activities
  • Work with development and test team
  • Support the teams on development and testing efforts, help with admin area where required
  • Plan for future environment preparation tasks with client technology lead / project lead based on project timelines
  • Design, implement and Support backup and recovery functions for Siebel UCM application
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance Location

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Perl and shell Scripting, Automation (using any workflow engine / orchestrator) experience is MUST. Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Siebel UCM environments on UNIX platform. Experience in managing large Siebel production landscape 8..x. Very good understanding of the Siebel architecture. Knowledge of UNIX scripting. Experience in Siebel Server Installation, Siebel Server Configuration, Siebel Upgrades, Code Migrations and Patch Management. Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and if required, work with Oracle support.
