The key responsibilities of the Treasury Operations Manager include:
Maintain, improve and streamline operational treasury processes, reporting and systems
Maintain robust risk management processes and controls for all Treasury functions
Administration and maintenance of Treasury IT systems including: Reval, Barclays payment software and FX dealing portals
Document, maintain and periodically review Treasury Policies and procedures (excluding derivatives & collateral)
Manage, monitor and report on operational facility compliance and covenant reporting
Execute FX and Money Market deals, monitor limits and prepare related reports as required for Management reporting
Propose and optimise use of new products within the Investment markets where appropriate and consistent with the group's appetite for risk, policies and procedures
Responsibility for cash investments, counterparty exposures and yield maximisation
Responsibility for supporting cash and working capital processes and initiatives across the group
Implementation of additional treasury controls and reporting requirements driven by changes to products, regulation or strategy
Provide cover for the other members of the Treasury team in operational, and other Treasury matters as necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideally qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 5 years post qualification ideally with FTSE250 or equivalent corporate treasury experience Experience of using a Treasury Management System AMCT qualification preferable or equivalent experience within a corporate treasury function Experience of managing a Treasury function Advanced MS Office skills, Excel, PowerPoint and Word Ability to meet demanding deadlines and adapt quickly to changing business needs Highly motivated, excellent communication skills and a confident decision maker Ability to develop good working relationships at all levels both within and outside the organisation Line management experience Good project management skills and strong time management skills High level of personal integrity and professionalism Leads by example Self-starter, ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
