Job Description

My client is a supplier to the education sector of services relevant for the progression of the curriculum and training of teachers. They are offering a permanent role for an experienced administrator to join the training team to actively contact and coordinate the training of teachers, managing their diaries and booking courses.

This role is remotely based for a temporary period during the Covid-19 provisions for safety and wellbeing. During 2021 there will be a staggered return to work with a Rota in place for attendance. Your team will work with you throughout the day remotely with direct guidance from your manager who remains accessible to you for all queries and one-to-one meetings.

Duties of the Training Coordinator: -

  • Receive inbound calls and divert the queries to the relevant person / department
  • Make outbound calls to institutions and academies to actively book training for staff members
  • Keep an account of open training courses to be booked and use initiative to ensure the training is booked by deadline
  • Liaise with teachers and staff within the institutions to negotiate adequate times for training and consultation
  • Basic diary management and organization
  • Administer emails and confirmations for training courses booked
  • Make changes to the calendar and reschedule events where necessary
  • Handle attendance to training records and use MS Excel to provide up to date reports for your compliance manager to review on a daily basis.

COVID-19 considerations:
This role is temporarily based from home with full team interactive support and training. You will be welcomed into the office using a Rota system to adhere to social distancing. IF you need to shield or isolate provisions will be put in place for you.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This role will actively use administrative and customer service skills. It is important you can demonstrate a 360 role that uses both key skills. Outbound communication / calls will be expected to proactively book the training courses and contact key teaching staff at time around their teaching schedules. Please ensure you possess the below as essential criteria: - Customer Service / Client Services. Administration; MS Excel Competence and precision. Outbound calling as part of your administration role. Organized. Diary / Calendar Management. Desirable background would be those who have worked in a training coordination role previously, arranging external training and negotiating venues, events and courses.
