Senior Business Development Manager with a background in B2B Subscriptions is urgently sought by a leading publication renowned for delivering daily financial news, banking profiles, industry trends to investment bankers, top accountancy firms, and other financial institutions.
Working closely with the Interim Commercial Lead for Banking & Capital Markets, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing the most strategically important accounts while also leading the acquisition of new clients.
This will include:
• Exploit opportunities and recognise risks associated with an existing book of business in line with required standards to promote revenue
growth
• Help develop account management strategy and lead the identification of growth opportunities through up- and cross-selling
• Lead client acquisition drive through the effective qualification of inbound leads and by taking a proactive approach to outbound lead
sourcing and prospecting.
This is initially a 6 – 9 month contract with the potential to apply for other internal roles.
